Founder
My journey with Better Care for Pets began way back in my early childhood. When my friends would play outside, I was at home drawing animals. And when my friends would have their parents read them children bedtime stories, I had my parents read me a different species of animal from my animal encyclopedia.
I remember ever since I was young, I would beg my parents everyday to get me a chihuahua, and that is how I met Juju. She was nine months old at the time and now she is 12. Ever since then, she has always been my best friend.
My family would often surprise me with farm animals. This is how I got to meet my crayfish, fish, albino guinea pig, chickens, rooster, ducklings, and silkworms.
I even had the chance to interact with exotic ones as well -on vacation trips- such as the American Alligator and the Green Sea Turtle. I am grateful that my family gave me the opportunity to meet them so I could grow up as an animal lover.
About 5 years ago, an unexpected event occurred that would further spark my interest in animals. On a fine summer evening, my dog found a baby squirrel that fell out of a tree in our backyard. The squirrel was weak and wounded so we took him under our wing and nurtured him before giving the squirrel to a professional who could take better care of him. This event will forever hold a place in my heart.
All of these factors combined, resulted in the birth of Better Care for Pets.
By taking my passion for animals, I have created this website under Better Care for Pets. Here, we will be posting monthly pet care tips which will help you understand more about your pets’ needs and how your pet is able to do many things that humans cannot. We will also be posting blogs regarding the issues that our wildlife has to face and how you can help to prevent these issues from worsening. Our mission is to help animal lovers all over the world make better choices for their pets and understand their pets better, and to help protect our wildlife!
With these informative blogs, you will be able to learn as to how little things can create a big difference for you and your pet and how pets are able to do extraordinary things that humans can’t. You will also be able to learn more about our wildlife. Together, we can expand your knowledge about your furry friend, make your pet’s life to the fullest, and understand our wildlife better!
Please join me on my journey by supporting Better Care for Pets and feel free to share this website with your family and friends.
